"DiG" is a feature-length dance film we've written for and about Tulsa. It is an Urballet (Urban Ballet) told without traditional dialog, but with shovels full of the stuff that has made LoJoWerkz musicals big hits with audiences and critics since 1998; namely showstopping production numbers, an original score that blends diverse musical influences, LOADS of Tulsa-based talent, and of COURSE high energy Dance numbers. The show journeys between Tulsa in 2014 and Tulsa in 1921, giving us the opportunity to explore all the themes that are at the heart of all of our award-winning musicals.
We will shoot a trailer and preliminary scenes and development numbers throughout 2014, with an eye towards going into full production in 2015.
